Farming simulator meets Candy Crush in this mobile game from Supercell. Hay Day Pop is a puzzle game that employs match-3 gameplay. In this game, you will match three blocks with the same colors to solve the puzzles. More than matching blocks, you will also grow your own farm. Hay Day Pop is playable offline. However, you can play online and compete in the leaderboard.

As mentioned, Hay Day Pop is a typical match-3 puzzle mobile game. Its mechanics are very simple: you only need to match three blocks of the same color to clear them out of the arena. At every level, there is a specific task that you need to complete before you can move on to the next.

Moreover, by matching more than three colored blocks and creating clever combos, you can get powered-up blocks that can clear more blocks in one match. There is a limit to your moves on every level, so you need to think about each move thoroughly.

Hay Day Pop is a single-player game that you can play offline. However, it allows you to compete with friends online and race them down Star River. You can also visit the farms of other players to find hidden rewards. Plus, you can invite them to your farm for a star or two of their own. 

Live the farm life

In addition to clearing level after level, Hay Day Pop will also challenge you to grow your own farm. Completing every level will give you star rewards. In turn, you can use the stars to get gift packs, gold coins, extra moves, hearts, and more.

You can plant crops and decorate the farm to make it your home. The coins you collect can be used to buy decorations, which will give you farm points (EXP). In turn, the points will help you level up your farm. As the level of your farm goes up, new areas are unlocked. You can use these new areas for your farm facilities, such as an animal den, fields for your crops, and decorations to get farm points.

Besides planting crops, Hay Day Pop also has various animals that you can get and house, including chickens, bumblebee, pigs, sheep, ducks, and dogs. All the animals will come in handy as they can help you grow your farm. For instance, the dog can help you find stars from time to time.

Other than animal shelters, there are also other facilities that you can unlock in the game. These include a flower truck bakery, a coffee shop, and a juice stand. All of which can help you get rewards and progress in the game. 

Hay Day Pop has two in-game currencies. There is the gold coin, which you can earn by unlocking areas, destroying trees, and collecting stars. The diamond, on the other hand, is a premium currency, which you can use to shop for toolboxes. Toolboxes include game boosters and other farm items. 

Fun casual game

Hay Day Pop is a fun game for casual players. It has familiar and simple mechanics that do not require any learning curve. Graphics-wise, the game looks like other Supercell games, with its colorful, cartoon-like design. The game, however, tends to be repetitive—especially in the match-3 puzzle. It is a good thing that it is also a farming game, so the players won't get stuck with completing levels after levels.
